When the horse´s feet are functioning well the performance increases. All parts of the foot need to be strong and execute their work with very precise timing. If one part is failing it will weaken the whole.
By trimming the feet into balance and apply correct stimulus it becomes possible for the horse to strengthen and use the foot effectively.
Then the built in ability to deal with impact and transfer force into movement can be used. To my joy lamenesses has "disappeared" when the foot became stronger. The horse overall becomes more sustainable; moves easier, runs faster and jumps higher!
